In the fall of 2009, Mr. Davidson and Mr. Gill formed Davidson Gill, LLC.

Davidson Gill is a full-service commercial brokerage and distressed asset specialist firm. We represent institutional buyers and sellers of distressed commercial real estate assets, as well as oil field service companies in South Texas, among others.

Our team is made up of transaction specialists and complimented by former bankers with asset and corporate restructuring backgrounds.

Recognized by the VA’s Center for Veteran’s Enterprise (CVE) and the South Central Texas Regional Certification Agency (SCTRCA), our veteran owned (Captain, USMC) organization is located in San Antonio and is currently serving clients throughout the state of Texas.

Mr. Davidson, a former Director at Cushman & Wakefield of Texas, Inc. (C&W) in Houston, is a seasoned transaction specialist with over $1.3 billion in sales of commercial properties to his credit. Mr. Gill, former Chairman at Gill Savings in San Antonio, is a mortgage banking/workout specialist with over forty years of commercial real estate experience as a principal, lender, manager, developer and broker. Both Davidson and Gill are accredited Brokers and both share the CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation. Gill is a CPM (Certified Property Manager) and one of Davidson Gill’s affiliates is an AMO (Accredited Management Organization). Davidson also holds an SIOR (Society of Industrial and Office Realtors) designation.

While at C&W, Davidson quickly attained several of the firm’s accolades, including C&W Houston’s Outstanding Emerging Broker of the Year for 2004, 2006 and 2007. His team was awarded the 2007 Land Sale Deal of the Year for the disposition of Houston CBD Block 319. In 2006, they won the same award for the Six Flags’ Astroworld site, and the Investment Sale Deal of the Year for BMC Software’s 1.2 million square foot Houston headquarters campus disposition.

Mr. Davidson received both his BA in International Relations and MFA in Cinema-Television Production from the University of Southern California, and he served for seven years as a United States Marine Corps Officer, attaining the rank of Captain.
